RESOLUTION NO. 151. U'7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources -Personnel and Organization
Development Division provides training, facilitation, and consulting support to all departments
of the County in order to continually improve both personnel and organizational effectiveness
and to maximize the potential of the County's human capital; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel and Organization Development Division will be holding the
2007 County Office Support Staff Conference "How to...and Stay Positive," which will be held
at Aunty Sally's Luau Hale in Hilo on Thursday, June 7, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this annual clerical conference is to recognize the office
support staff for all their hazd work and dedication by giving them their "special" day to get
together, shaze ideas, and network while attending training sessions that would enhance their
work performance; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the
Depaztment of Human Resources to help fund the 2007 County Office Support Staff Conference;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Human Resources and the Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
