SUBJECT: Approval of the County of Hawaii s 2007 Action Plan
and Council Resolution Authorizing the Mayor of the
County of Hawaii to Execute and Submit the 2007 Action
Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development and the State Hawaii Housing Finance and
Development Corporation
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
the County of Hawai'i's 2007 Action Plan and a Council Resolution
Authorizing the Mayor of the County of Hawaii to Execute and
Submit the 2007 Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development and the State Hawaii Housing Finance and
Development Corporation.
The Hawaii County Housing Agency reviewed and approved the
Action Plan and Resolution at its meeting on April 3, 2007, and
voted as follows:
AYES: B. Ford, S. Higa, D. Ikeda, B. Jacobson,
E. Naeole, A. Pilago, J Yoshimoto, P. Hoffmann - 8
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: D. Yagong - 1
Accordingly, I am requesting that this resolution be included on
the Council agenda for action at its April 18, 2007, meeting.
