RESOLUTION NO. 132 U 1
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is in need of a trailer to
transport its heavy equipment between pazk facilities in West Hawaii; and
WHEREAS the Department of Parks and Recreation currently transports its heavy
equipment through the use of trailers borrowed from the State or from Hilo when available;
and
WHEREAS, the trailer will be housed at the Kailua Park baseyazd and will provide
the Department of Parks and Recreation with the means to transport its equipment and
complete its work in an efficient and timely manner; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 8 for $23,000 will be
appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase a trailer to transport
heavy equipment in West Hawaii; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forwazd a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Pazks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessazy transfers in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
