Previously I requested a deferral for the hearing of this bill until April 1, 2007. I understand that your
resolution deferring action on change of zones requests has been amend by a Draft 2. As such, my client,
Winton Nicholson, is requesting that the County Council defer action on his proposed change of zone
ordinance until the North and South Kona Community Development Plan is adopted by ordinance, or until
September I, 2007, whichever shall occur first. This request is submitted in response to Kona community
members desire to complete this important planning process.
