Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 77, reports as follows:
Bill No. 77, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 260, dated
Mazch 14, 2007, amends Ordinance No. 06-79, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2007. The amendment is as follows:

3305.23 State Grants -Product Development Program General $100,000
To:
010.161.5162.99 Product Development Program General $100,000
Pursuant to Section 46-7, of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County
Chazter, the Mayor is already authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the project
identified in the Operating Budget.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 77, and recommends it
pass first reading.
