I am writing to voice my opinion in support of resolution 169-07 to save Punalu'u from
development and make it a living classroom. 1 believe that by saving and protecting our
natural and cultural resources we will be enhancing the economic Future of Kau for future
generations. By protecting Punalu~u as a "Living Classroom" we will bring better jobs to
Kau through educational and culturally based careers that our youth will be proud to
pursue. I plan to raise my daughters here and they love Punalu'u just as it is now. Please
support this resolution and talk to the people about saving this natural place forever.
