SUBJECT: Additional Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 13407
The additional proposed amendment to Resolution No. 134-07 updates as follows:
1. Eighth Whereas Paragraph: "WHEREAS, the Council supports the development
of a one-year pilot program to trap invasive feral pigs in residential and
agricultural communities in Hawaii County by recommending a 250 000
[$~8A;000] appropriation for the Department of Research and Development to
administer this vital program beginning on July 1, 2007 and ending
June 30, 2008; and"
2. Be It Further Resolved Paragraph: "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the
Council recommends an appropriation of 250 000 [$1-9000] in the upcoming
FY 2007-2008 budget for the Department of Research and Development to '
administer [fund] said one-year pilot program; and"
