RESOLUTION NO. 204
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Higashihaza Pazk is a small neighborhood pazk in District 7 that is used
extensively by young families because of the playground equipment and the easy accessibility
off of Queen Ka` ahumanu Highway; and
WHEREAS, the existing playground equipment is made of wood and part of it needs to
be replaced because of dry rot; and
WHEREAS, the Kona Lions Club will be providing volunteer labor and materials to
install fixtures in the upper level restrooms, for the comfort of the families; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation to be used for renovations of the playground equipment and
materials for restrooms doors for night security at Higashihara Park; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Research and Development and the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
