The position will be <br /> responsible to formulate and direct the execution of divisional policies, procedures, rules <br /> and regulations, interprets statues, codes and ordinances and departmental policies. <br /> Design, evaluates, and continuously improves divisional policies and procedures, rules <br /> and regulations to ensure efficiency within the division. Manage annual budget <br /> preparation and monitoring of expenditures. In addition, search for alternative highway <br /> revenue sources to support the continual safe and efficient operations and maintenance <br /> of County roads, bridges and flood control structures. <br /> Duties will include setting the Highway Maintenance Division priorities throughout the <br /> six (li) geographical districts, coordinate highway related matters between Department <br /> of Public Works divisions, other County departments and various State and Federal <br /> agencies. This position will plan, prepare and implement major division programs such <br /> as Fuel Tax Resurfacing, Roads in Limbo, Best Management Practices for <br /> Sedimentation and Erosion Control, Storm Water Management, Underground Injection <br /> Control drywells, Bridge Inspection and Reporting, and Road Safety Audits to be <br /> proactive in improving safety on County roads. <br /> This position would require an amendment to the follow expenditure accounts: <br /> Comm.
