'Za'4 0'7 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the geographic location ofthe Ocean View Community hinders the ability <br /> of emergency service providers to respond to situations in the azea, sometimes with waits of up <br /> to an hour or more; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Ocean View Community is fortunate to have an active and effective <br /> Volunteer Fire Department supported by the Hawai i County Fire Department and manned by <br /> committed and well trained volunteers; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from District 6 in the amount of $1,870 shall be used to <br /> purchase a Ham Radio Base Unit and necessary accessories; and <br /> WHEREAS, all equipment purchased in accordance with this resolution and with public <br /> funds shall become property of the County and shall remain in the custody of the Fire <br /> Department at the Ocean View Volunteer Fire Station; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds fromCouncil District 6 will be transfen•ed to the Fire <br /> Department for use as a grant to purchase emergency equipment for the Ocean View Volunteer <br /> Fire Department; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWATI that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,870 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,870 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 101.221.5226.06 Fire Department $1,870 <br /> Trng & Volunteer Fire-Eqpt. <br /> (Ocean View Volunteer-Fire Station Eqpt) <br /> <br />
