Naeole, Council Member ;1~~j.~~,~y'~"~~ Date: May 7, 2007 Subject: Proposed Amendments to Bi1160, Drafr 2, The Operating Budget Proposal 2007-2008 This is to transmit the recommendations for Nonprofit Grants in Aid from the Committee on Human Services and Economic Development (HSEDC), which was the result of the amendments approved via Communication Number 157.4 at the April 17, 2007, HSEDC meeting. The amendments are reflected in the attached Exhibit A. To summazize, the amendments will increase the total amount by $600,000 to $1,500,000 for 57 programs and reduces the Transfer to Budget Stabilization Fund by the same amount. EIN/bh/ro r Att. Comm.
