I atn writing this later to express my feelings about the proposed land purchase of
a vital part of the I~a'u coast line. I ann in favor of this and fully rt the preservation
of this area. With this letter I hope to justify my reasoning and share sow experiences of
mine w ly y will be able to see the ignportance of this sacred area
and come to a proper conclusion.
My family is from the ahupua'a of Punalu'u and eve have beeB living there for
many generations_ I have been going to 'u lance I was little as did any and
