Subject: Proposed Amendments to Bill 60, Draft 2, The Operating Budget
I ask that you consider amending Bill 60, Draft 2 by increasing the Revenue-Fund Balance from
Previous Year account by $80,000 and increasing Transfer to Highway Fund account by the
same amount. The appropriation will be used to purchase eight Smart Signs for use in Kona.

1 ask that you consider amending Bill 60, Dratt 2 by increasing the Revenue-Fund Balance Prom
Previous Year account by $350,000 and increasing Transfer to Cap Proj Fund-G account by the
same amount. The appropriation will be used for contracting a Park Planner and to repair or
replace the unsafe structures in Higashihara Park in Kailua-Kona.
