Subject: Bill 60, Draft 2
I ask that you consider amending Bill 60, Draft 2 by increasing the Revenue-Fund Balance From
Previous Year account by $1,500,000 and increasing Transfer to Cap Proj Fund-G account by the
same amount. The appropriation will be used for a road improvement project in Kailua-Kona on
Ali`i Highway from King Kamehameha III to Kaleiopapa Road for road widening to include a
center merge/left turn lane with stripes, a traffic signal light at Kaleiopapa Road, bike lanes, and
sidewalk(s) for pedestrian safety for the Mamalahoa Bypass connection to Ali`i Highway.
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the expenditure account(s) is reflected
below:
