Subject: Bill 60, Draft 2
I ask that you consider amending Bill 60, Draft 2 by increasing the Revenue-Fund Balance From
Previous Year account by $100,000 and increasing Transfer to Cap Prgj Fund-G account by the
same amount. The appropriation will be used for a drainage improvement project in Kealakekua
along the Mamalahoa Highway between Konawaena High School Road and Meleana Place on
the mauka side of the highway. The project may include relocating the gate to increase water
collection, realigning the concrete, rock, masonry wall, adding an additional drywell/sump near
Meleana Place, and/or improving the ability of the culvert south of Meleana Place to receive
floodwater.
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the expenditure account(s) is reflected
below:
