Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
Please be advised that I have appointed Yun Chu Pilles of Hilo
to the Hawaii County Committee on the Status of Women, to
succeed herself.
Mrs. Pilles is a 12-year resident of Hawaii, and since 1990,
has been with the University of Hawaii at Hilo, involved in the
marketing and public relations office. She is involved with
ROTARACT - a UHH service club, the America's Promise, the
Governor's Kilohana Award and the Kaumana School PTA.
She will serve a term to end on December 31, 2001. Should the
Council have any questions regarding this submission, you may
call me at your convenience.
