RESOLUTION NO. 230 0'7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, coaching staff, offense and defense members of the Oakland Raiders National
Football League, has participated in the Prime Time NFL Football Clinic for the past two years for the
children of the Big Island; and
WHEREAS, these clinics has opened doors for many of the Big Island graduating students
from Kealakehe, Waiakea, Honoka`a, Hawaii Preparatory Academy, Konawaena and Hilo high
schools to obtain scholazships to vazious colleges on the mainland; and
WHEREAS, Big Island children will be provided transportation, lunches, and t-shirts for
participating in the clinics, which is to be held in Hilo and Hamakua; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Office of
the Mayor, Clerical Services Center; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $10,000
CREDITED TO:
010.111.5113.02 Office of the Mayor
Clerical Services Center OCE $10,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Honorable Harry Kim, Mayor and the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
