SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill 80, Draft 3, Relating to Mass Transit
Attached please find a Draft 3 of Bi1180, relating to Mass Transit. This draft contains corrections to the
text of the bill that were suggested in communication 288.3, and adopted by the Council during its May
16, 2007 meeting.
The amendments contained in this Draft 3 include the following:
1. In the body of the new section, the term "authorize" is replaced with "authorized."
2. SECTIONS 4 - 6, which were inadvertently placed in the bill, are replaced with SECTIONS
2 - 4 that contain the language adopted by the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations
Committee during its meeting on May 1, 2007.
