SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill 87, Draft 2, Relating to Vehicles and Traffic, Honalo Junction
Attached please find a Draft 2 of Bi1187, relating to Vehicles and Traffic, Honalo Junction. This
draft contains a "housekeeping" amendment made by the Council during its May 16, 2007
meeting. This amendment to the citation to the Hawaii County Code in the title and section 1 of
the bill replaced references to the 1995 Edition of the Code with the correct reference to the 2005
Edition of the code. As amended, the title and SECTION 1 of the bill now read as follows: (The
changes are bolded and ramseyered for illustrative purposes only.)
Title:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983 ([t°2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO
VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC."
Section l:
"SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-271,
schedule 19 (Prohibited left turn areas), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii
County Code 1983 ([1-99-5] 2005 edition, as amended), is amended by adding
the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
~ Route 180 at Route 11, for south bound motorists between the
hours of 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday throu h Friday except
holidays."
