Condition N of the above-referenced ordinance. Thank you for complying with the annual

SUBJECT: 3rd ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT

Change of Zone from A-Sato A-la
Keekee, South Kona, Hawaii

In accordance with Section 2, Condition N of Ordinance No. 95-1, we respectfully submit our third
Annual Progress Report for the subject A-la subdivision project as follows:
1. Condition B - We are in the process of revising the revised Preliminary Subdivision Plat Map,
for which we received Tentative Approval from the Planning Department on June 13, 1996.
2. Conditions H & I - In conjunction with revising the Preliminary Subdivision Plat Map, we are
evaluating and considering an altemative access point to the property and an alternative internal
roadway system within the proposed subdivision.
3. Condition K - We have prepared a solid waste management plan for the subject project and
submitted same to the Department of Public Works for review.

SUBJECT: SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
Ordinance No 95-1
Keekee, South Kona, Hawaii
TMK:(3)8-1-03:34 and por. 50
In accordance with Section 2, Condition K of Ordinance No. 95-1, the following is our proposed
solid waste management plan for the subject 8-lot agricultural 1-acre (A-1 a) subdivision, for your
review and approval:
L Construction Phase -Solid waste generated from site clearing and grubbing during roadway,
utility and lot grading construction activity will be stockpiled onsite to decompose and a small
portion maybe trucked to the West Hawaii Landfill.
2. Improved A-la Lots -Household solid waste generated by the individual lot owners will
probably be transported by the owners or by a private refuse collection service company to a solid
waste transfer station. We will encourage the individual lot owners to participate in recycle
programs, if available, and to dispose of yard waste andlor farm waste on their individual lots.
