Subject: SAVE PUNALU'U!!
.
Aloha I am not able to attend this evening, but really wanted to make a effort from the bottom of my heart.
Regarding resolution 169-07. Please Protect Punalu'u Black sand beach. It is a precious place and this decision is
a vital one. Look to your hearts and not pockets for the protection of wildlife and preservation. If we keep
allowing our precious places to be developed than what future does the island have? Please consider my
testimony as a honest ,true, consideration into the final desicion.
I have a quote from a 19th century tree Indian:
Only when the last tree has died
and the last river has been poisoned
and the last fish has been caught
will we realise that we can not
eat money.
Thank you for your time.
