As frequent visitors to Hawaii, we strongly urge the County protect Punalu~ u Black Sand Beach and
pass Resolution 169-07, allowing the county to purchase the shoreline and adjacent lands of
Punalu' u and Ninole Springs using Federal Matching Funds so it will be protected forever. It is
crucial that the County Council passes this Resolution 169-07.
