VOLUNTEERS FOR THE CLEAN UP AND MAINTENANCE OF
THE SUGGESTED PARK AT PUNALU'U.
THE FOLLOWING NAMES ARE RESIDENTS OF KA'U WHO HAVE COME
FORWARD IN THE LAST WEEK TO INDICATE THEIR WILLINGNESS TO
ASSIST IN CLEANING UP AND MAINTAINING THE PROPOSED PARK
PLEASE NOTE: THE MAJORITY OF THIS LIST ARE NOT MEMBERS OF
KA'U PRESERVATION. WE HAVE NOT YET ASKED OUR MEMBERS TO
COMMIT TO THE COMMITTEE TO CLEAN UP AND MAINTAIN THE PARK.
WE HAVE EVERY REASON TO BELIEVE THERE WILL BE MANY
VOLUNTEERS.KA'UPRESERYATION IS DETERMINED THAT THIS GROUP
SHOULD BE MADE UP OF ALL THE RESIDENTS OF KA'U WHO LOVE
PUNALU'U NOT JUST MEMBERS OF KA'U PRESERVATION.
Also, it is worthy of note that we already have two people committed to supervising the
work of cleaning and maintaining the pazk;
DR. JASON TURNER ,Doctor of Marine Science at the University of Hawaii. He will
be invaluable on issues of the coastline and the endangered species.
And
DR. LUCIANO MINERBI, Doctor of Archeology at the university of Hawaii. His
specialty is in the field of urban and regional planning.
