To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to express my support of Resolution 169-07 which will use county funds and matching
federal funds to buy the shoreline and adjacent lands of Punalu'u and Ninole Springs for the purposes of
preserving these sites.
Too many sites have already been lost to development that have great historical and societal importance
to the heritage of our native peoples. Having visited this beautiful site and learned the stories of the
people using this land, I implore you to please adopt Resolution 169-07 and protect this site for
future generations of Hawaiians and visitors to the Islands.
