Please don't let greedy developers and locals with real estate interests
adversely influence your decision to place Punalu'u Beach as the number
2 priority for purchase by Hawaii County. Punalu'u is too important to everyone who
loves Ka'u to see it lost forever to development.
Economically, service industry jobs are low paying and construction jobs last only for the
duration of the project, but agricultural jobs last for generations. Help find a way to
provide economic development through agriculture, education, cultural arts and resource
management.
