Please support saving Punuluu. It is the last open space on Hawaii. Please help protect the 150 acres that
include the most critically important areas along the coast, "commencing at the certified shoreline
and extending at least 2000 feet inland." The passing of the resolution at this time will allow for
MATCHING FEDERAL FUNDS to be used, saving the county millions of dollars. U.S. Congresswoman
Mazie Hirono has requested $3 million dollars for this purpose. Once purchased the property would
be managed under the guidance and stewardship of the people of Ka' u.
