Please find attached the cover page of the study entitled "Community Planning in the
Ahupua?a of Kamaoa-Pu?u?eo and Punalu?u"
in which we documented the need for culturally appropriate CBED, and the importance of the
protection of scenic, cultural, historical, Hawaiian and ecological resources and sites in
those localities. I trust that you will consider this report as additional evidence for
the acquisition and protection of coastal land in Punaluu as stated in Hawaii County
Council Resolution 169-07.
