Subject: Resolution 169-07
Aloha Members of the County Council,
Please add my name to the list of supporters of Resolution 169-07, and preserve the
landscape, heritage and history of this culturnlly significant area of Punalu'u.
So much of our island has alrendy been carved into planned communities, resorts,
subdivisions and 5 acre parcels for 'gentleman farmers', dozed, stripped and replanted
with non-nntive plants. So much access to beach and coastline has been cut off through
rampant development and poor planning.
Support the people who support you: vote to preserve and protect Punalu'u for the
children of our children's children. Turn this area into a cultural heritage site---educate
our keiki on the ways of the past and allow them a proud future.
Mahalo for your time and for your vote to support and protect Punalu'u,
Amy Cody-Quinn
