Aloha Council Members (Ms. Ford),
I am writing to register my reservations/opposition regazding the above bill that is before the Council.
I understand in part, the problems water runoffs can cause (i.e., my Brother-in-law next door was sued
for water runoff allegedly coming off his driveway that may have contributed to anaccident - he won, as
the runoff was actually from the State Highway itself -not from his STEEP driveway - Keei/Honaunau)
and also the plight of certain Farmers experiencing nasty soil erosion. I am a farmer, and share in their
concerns.
Sometimes, certain bills are enacted and when becomes law, causes other more dire "unintended" and
disastrous consequences. This is my concern with this bill.
I hope the 'Unintended Consequences' this bill will cause will also be considered, as I believe the impact
of it's passage will be faz more Detrimental to the lives and Livelihood of Countless More of us Citizens
who will be affected by it.
