I support Bi1155, Draft 2.
The Kailua Village Business Improvement District is amuck-needed
solution to the existing deterioration to historical Kailua Village,
allowing business, government and residents to work in partnership
with immediate solutions to address cleanliness and safety to this
historic area.
As President and General Manager of Keauhou Resort, I understand
the importance of initiatives that serve the greater good of the
community. The Kailua Village Business Improvement District is an
opportunity to revitalize an area that is in dire need of attention and
given time, will call us as a community back to its tarnished charm. A
place where we can once again, take our families safely and enjoy all
that Kailua has to offer and as as a place we can all be proud of.
For over twenty years Business Improvement Districts small and large
have achieved success across the nation. Let's come together and and
do the same with Kailua, bringing back a sense of community and
place.
I ask for your kokua and support the Kailua Village Business
Improvement District.
