Dear Chairman Hoffman:
We arc writing to urge the council to approve Bill 55 to establish the Kailua Village
Business Improvement District (KVBID). As landowners of approximately 3 acres of
property along Kuakini Highway in the heart of Kailua-Kona, we welcome the formation
of K\BID, and look forward to participating in apublic-private partnership to enhance
the quality of life in Kailua-Kona. We believe that the KVBID will enable Kailua to
become safer and cleaner, and will improve the quality of life and the Kona experience
for residents, business owners, and visitors alike.
We tntst that the County Council will also see the significattt benefits to the KVBID, and
will pass a resolution to form the District.
We fully support the KV'ID, and respectfully request That the Council support the KVBID
by passing Biil 55. Please feel free to call me at (949) 231-5068 if you have any
