Re: Waiakea Center-Dedication of Sewer Extension and Reimbursement for
Construction Costs
Dear Council Members:
On behalf of the Applicant Maryl Development Inc. ("Applicant"), this
will request that the Hawaii County Council formally accept for dedication the new
sewer line extension constructed by the Applicant from the Waiakea Center project
located at TMK (2) 2-2-47:56, 63 and 64, through the line extension along Makaala
Street and connecting to the existing County of Hawaii system located on Leilani Street,
(hereinafter referred to as the "sewer extension") as more particularly shown on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto.
Pursuant to Hawaii County Code §21-28, this will also request that the
Hawaii County Council approve the reimbursement to the Applicant of all monies for
sewer charges collected by the County of Hawaii from other properties, including
without limitation the Waiakea Center project, connecting to the sewer extension, since
its start of operation. n'7b _ .
