Hello,
My name is Andrea Mock. I am currently a resident of Kasson, MN and I have personal
interest in saving Punalu'u. This past January I came to Hawaii with a group from the
University of Minnesota Duluth to learn about the Hawaiian culture and way of life.
Punalu'u is a place where we spent a lot of time speaking with conservationists and
activists to keep these awful things from happening to our beautiful Hawaii.
Punalu'u holds a special place in the hearts of all of the people in my group, the many
groups before us, and not to mention the people of Ka'u. I am expressing my vote of
support for this resolution to keep the developers OUT of Punalu'u. Punalu'u and my trip
to Hawaii has changed my perspective on life and it will for many others who will be
going there in the near future.
Mahalo very much for your time and your effort to save Punalu'u.
