Dear Friends,
I am a resident of Aptos, California with a second home at 19-4259 I'iwi Road in Volcano.
We expect to retire to the Volcano home in three years.
When we are on this beloved island, we often visit in Punalu'u, both the wonderful beach
with the turtles-- already severely harassed-- and its sacred sites. It is a precious and
magical place, very important to many people. Over 400 people attended the recent
meeting to support the protection of Punalu'u. My husband and I
urge you to listen to these voices and ail others raised in protest and that you take
every measure possible to protect this very special place on our island.
