Aloha,
Please support resolution 169-07. Punaluu and the surrounding coastline is one of the Big
Island's remaining accessible shoreline areas. It is a very culturally historic place and
belongs to everyone.
Most of the islands beach areas have been taken over by the wealthly.
Let's NOT let that happen to Puanluu!

I am re-sending this message because I forgot to mention that I have lived in Volcano for over 25 years with my husband
raising our son. Punaluu is a special place we went and still do, as a family to enjoy the beauty of the ocean, watch the
turtles and enjoy the backdrop of the mountains. What a shame if that backdrop would be spoiled by houses and a resort.
Allow the public to enjoy the beach -unspoiled!
