Aloha,
Please don't let anyone develop our only remote black sand beaches.
Its history and pristine beauty are renowned worldwide.
Visitors go there expecting to find a natural environment and Hawaii of the past!!
No hotel development or shopping center will ever enhance the attraction that nature has created.
And what about the endangered species that inhabit this area??There are many in question?
What about the families that live in K'au and use this area for free recreation and cultural experience.
No doubt the easy access and availability will be lost.
Have any environmental impact studies have been done before development occurs??
If you allow a developer to spoil this area of K'au it will no longer be that place we all love so much.
Please place this area in a Nature Preserve Status NOW, so that no developer can ever exploit it for profit!!!
