A few years ago I was give the opportunity to visit the beautiful sites of Punalu'u, and
stay with the residents of Ka'u and it changed my view of the Hawaiian culture forever. I
recently graduated from the University of Minnesota and am now entering the Property
Acquisitions and Real Estate business, so I can understand why someone would want to
developer this valuable piece of property. But, after seeing the land and meeting the
locals I would highly advice against this move.
These are amazing people who do not ask for much other land their land. Please do not let
bill 169-07 pass.
