Hi,
We have come to visit the Big Island twice this year, stayed in Pahala and both times have come to visit the turtles and the
black sands of Punalu'u. It is a beautiful and peaceful place with both waves and wetlands. This area should be preserved. The
black beach is unique. The turtles will go away if the place becomes packed with people as will the wetland birds and other
creatures. Please leave this park for the residents and visitors alike to enjoy. Please pass resolution 169-07 and preserve one of
the wIlder pockets of Hawaii.
