Aloha Hawaii County Councilmembers,
I stand with the community in opposition to the development of luxury homes and resorts on
the sacred grounds of Punalu'u. I urge you to vote for Resolution 169-07 because it will
enable the community to create a culturally and environmentally appropriate plan for the
area.
This will help to reunite the community behind a positive use of this public trust
resource.
We can show the world that community-based development can save the environment and
improve people's lives.
