Hawaii County Councilmembers
Aloha Hawaii County Councilmembers,
I am writing to urge you to support Resolution 169'07 and protect Punalu'u from
inappropriate development.
The last thing we need in Hawaii, and particularly on the Big Island where the nicest
beaches have been claimed by tourists, is more luxury homes and more development. We don't
need another Waikiki, Poipu, Lahaina, Kihei, Kona, Princeville!!'
Ka'u has a unique opportunity to show the world that community-based development can save
the environment and improve the quality of life for our people. Do not bypass this chance
to move Hawaii in the right direction.
Save Punalu'u. Vote in support of Res 169-G7.
