Aloha Hawaii County Councilmembers,
I stand with the community in opposition to the development of luxury homes and resorts on
the sacred grounds of Punalu'u. I urge you to vote for Resolution 169-07 because it will
enable the community to create a culturally and environmentally appropriate plan for their
area.
This resolution follows Mayor Kim's recommendation that Punalu'u Beach Park and adjacent
lands become the number two priority for purchase.
Please preserve the precious resources - ponds, springs, etc - for which Punalu'u is
known. Help the community preserve the character of its place by voting YES on Resolution
169-07.
Please hear the cries of your people in opposition to this project and pass Resolution
169-07.
