Angel Subject: Kottke, 6/18/07 = To Whom it May Concern, I am writing to you in strong support of Hawaii County Resolution 169-07. I am very enthusiastic about protecting the critical habitat and sacred sites at Punalu'u. I am from Duluth, MN and I visited this area in 2003 for a university study class. There are many countless times when I still think about Hawaii and its people! I cannot imagine Punalu'u destroyed by development. This cannot happen! I was very captivated by the beauty, community, and history of the area. I want the children of Ka'u and Hawaii to be able to enjoy their home for many many years to come. I cannot believe that there is even a consideration of letting development take over the area to ruin it! Please save this important open space that provides families in Kau with income, an invaluable, sustainable food source and an important and vital family recreation area that is the only public beach park in Kau. I appreciate your time! Thank you. Sincerely, Shanna Kottke Picture_ths_ -,.share your photos and vou_could win bie! Caro. No,, 3`~q. 355' Ref. Ta r~••• ~G 6/18/2007 ttef, Date
