AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-8-7 (NORTH AND SOUTH KOHALA
DISTRICT ZONE MAP) AND SECTION 25-8-11 (LALAMILO-PUUKAPU ZONE MAP),
ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
(2005 EDITION), BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM
AGRICULTURAL - 40 ACRE (A-40a) AND AGRICULTURAL - 1 ACRE (A-1 a) TO
AGRICULTURAL - 400 ACRE (A-400a) AT WAIMEA, SOUTH KOHALA, HAWAII,
COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 6-5-001:020.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`L•
SECTION 1. Sections 25-8-7 and 25-8-11, Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) ofthe
Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), is amended to change the district classification of
property described hereinafter as follows:
The district classification of the following azea situated at Waimea, South Kohala
Hawaii, shall be Agricultural - 400 acre (A-400a):
Beginning at the southeast comer of this parcel of land, at the north corner of Lot
4, Block 1, Waimea Homesteads and at the south corner of the Waimea Water
Reservation (Governor's Executive Order 2511), the coordinates of said point of
beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "WEST BASE" being
901.60 feet North and 1293.84 feet West, as shown on Government Survey Registered
Map 2739, thence running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
1. 55° 09' 435.0 feet along Lot 4, Block 1 of Waimea
Homesteads;
2. 145° 09' 500.0 feet along Lot 5, Block 1 of Waimea
Homesteads;
3. 55° 09' 600.0 feet along Lots 5, 6 and 7, Block 1 of
Waimea Homesteads;

20-foot Road;
5. 55° 09' 1000.0 feet across the said 20-foot road and

SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
