I strongly support of Resolution 169-07. One of the highlights of my life was a trip to the Big Island to visit Volcano National Park.
After three days of hiking and enjoying the spectacular surroundings there, my son and I finished our trip with a drive to Punalu'u. A
turtle greeted us and I'll never forget how much fun we had swimming and warming ourselves on the black sand. We don't need any
more luxury hotels. We need beaches where people can come freely and enjoy what's best about the Big Island. PLEASE keep
Punalu'u unspoiled by developers.
