Aloha Hawaii County Councilmembers, -
Punalu'u is a public trust resource. It should not be sold for profit and made into
million-dollar second homes. No. It should be protected and publicly managed to ensure the
natural and cultural resources there endure for generations to come.
Please don't let this development change Ka'u for the worse.
Stand with the community and pass resolution 169-07. with the federal grant of \$3
million, the county can afford to buy the area and save it for generations to come.
