I am a long-term resident of Hawaii. I attended school here and focused my studies on law
and Native Hawaiian issues. I support Hawaii County Resolution 169-07 as our society cannot
afford to lose its people or its lands to the drive for development. We are a state of
contradictions, but without the contrast for tourists to observe and participate in we are just
an overdeveloped paradise.
