Dear Dominic,
I apologize for writing you at this i~,-~ ~j-~~.te regarding Bill NO 192. I
just got word about it on Sunday at the I-la~~ ~ii.an Civic Club meeting. Also
I have not had an opportunity to see ~1;;:~aer 22 of the l-Iawa.i'i County
Code.
However after reading the text r~f'~ 11 ~'vC? 192, we in North Kohala
feel out of the loop. We would like to see '~.a ~~+,~~ar;e in your bill that includes
Pololu lookout area, Keo Kea Beach Park., ~ ~fl n~tahukona.
~Ne have already been plagued at c~.+tilE~~~~nl tin~les over the years, ~~~ith
vendors selling £ood and other items. ~Ve ~ ~ been able to 'handle it locally
in the past. But this Bill sounds like it mi;:,l ollocved up lvith signs that
visually announce to vendors, they are i ~ ~ ~l~afion of the la~~-.
I know for a fact that Kindy Sproat ~ his ~-vife, who live at Pololu,
would be ecstatic to have this statue inclnc~"> +:he Pololu lookout. The same
is true for those who reside in the vicinity ~ };eo Kea Beach Park.
If it is possible to include these N~,""~ i,l~~ T<:ohala sites in your Bill, we
would be very appreciative. Ivlahalo.
