There are plenty of places that developers can build, but our shoreline is limited and should be preserved. "Once it is gone, it is gone forever." There is no reason why developments need to be built right up to the State-defined public access portion of the shore; people will still buy even if the properties for sale are set back some distance, as has been demonstrated elsewhere on the Island.
