Rather, I call attention to your abiding interest, long after you have died as human beings, to preserve the ecosystemic basis of biological evolution. For our bodies are transitory forms of the universe, of every particle and galaxy. Our abiding interest is enhancing the joys of living, which transcends narrow personal interest, because we cannot possess what we are - constantly changing forms of energy. The dominance of momentary, narrow personal interest has turned this planet into a living hell. Our bodies, when healthy, exemplify the harmonious interactions of trillions of cells, enabling optimal organismic function. The ecosystems our lives depend on are extensions of this internal ecosystem. Cancerous cells exemplify the narrow, self-aggrandizing interest that depletes and destroys the organism, analogous to the sociopathic degradation and destruction of our world. Because every mortal life embodies eternal energy, we have an abiding interest in enhancing the joys of living because our essence is that energy. Preserving the sanctity of Punaluu is obviously in our abiding interest. Sincerely, Louis Korn, PO Box 851, Naalehu HI 96772; 929-9938 Comm. No. y' ~9• ~ 3 ~ Ref. To: tipeNad rc' , Raf.
