Sir:
We are owners of a home at Punalu'u. We purchased our home 11 years ago and know much more about the
needs of the area than do many of those protesting the SeaMountain5 development plan.
Ka'u needs jobs, Ka'u needs economic opportunities, Ka'u needs road and sewer repair, Ka'u needs so much
that would be provided by a development such as the resort and private homes SeaMountain5 envisions. With
the local expertise of O Ka'u Kakou working with this company to plan an environmentally aware and
economically promising complex, the needs of Ka'u will be met and even surpassed.
Please realize the self-serving attitude and plans of the Ka'u Preservation Group are not those of the majority of
Ka'u residents, but of idealistic "greenies, many of whom do not live in, or know, Ka'u District and Punalu'u.
Vote No on Bob Jacobson's Resolution 769-07.
